Help ID this antique tool, please!

Thank you all for your help and information!  I'll pass them along to my Dad.

 

I forgot to post measurements, as you guys noticed, sorry!  The handle is approximately 12.5" and the blade is about 13.5".

 

The links and photos are all really interesting... thank you!slight smile

teamcake, it could be a hay knife.  I sell two different types when I can get them.  The one that resembles usually has a blade close to 18 inch and the handle is angled differently.   I'm thinking that one may have been used more for cutting corn stalks after the harvest.  Either way it's a nice item.
