I am seeing the words TILES and CHINA.  The letters on the left are hard to make out.  I think I see **ARS but it is hard to read.  The first two marks (letters I think) are hard to make out.  The mark in the center looks like a "W" with a diamond through it and possibly the bottom of the W is marked like an A?

the piece is made of earthenware (pottery).  porcelain doesn't craze like that and china is not really a specific type of ceramic although it often is meant as porcelain.

Why not show the entire piece? Maybe a super close-up of the mark.
