Does anybody recognize this sterling maker's mark on the cap of a ballpoint pen?

Didn't find anything on Google lens.

What does the rest of the lettering say, where it's disappearing out of sight around the barrel? "STERLING," or anything else?

Sterling is the only other mark on the pen.

I believe the mark is used by New England Sterling Co. of Attleboro MA. They made giftware remarkably similar to items offered by Tiffany.
