What does the rest of the lettering say, where it's disappearing out of sight around the barrel? "STERLING," or anything else?

Sterling is the only other mark on the pen.

I believe the mark is used by New England Sterling Co. of Attleboro MA. They made giftware remarkably similar to items offered by Tiffany.
