Chinese or Japanese mark?

Hi,

I hope someone can help me out. This gorgeous vase has a mark at the bottom. Can anyone tell me anything about this? Thanks so much.IMG_5942.JPGIMG_5936.JPG

Re: Chinese or Japanese mark?

You have the mark upside down.  Anyhow, go here and scroll down to Jurantang, Mark #328 or 329:

Re: Chinese or Japanese mark?

I answered the phone and ran out of editing time.

It is Chinese.  It is not an exact match, but I am reasonably sure it is Jurentang, closer to Mark #329.  This is the orientation:

I can''t be of much help beyond identifying the mark.  As to age, it's after 1960 per the mark.  So it's not the valuable Republic Period Jurentang.   You can search eBay for Jurentang pieces that are not  Republic, watch them, see how they do.   Be warned that you're bound to see misrepresented and overpriced pieces, so use your own good judgement and common sense.

By the way, some more info here on Gotheborg, if you missed it:
