Can you identify the mark on this pewter car figurine? Thank you!

I have a Porsche car figurine and I can't identify the maker.  There is a registered mark on the underside along with "Made in W. Germany"  The pewter mark appears to be a "G" on the left side and 3 horizontal lines on the right side of a shield.  Thank you for your help!
