Anyone have any knowledge of this piece? It appears to be made of woven brass tubes ...gilt on top and enamel coated on bottom or backside with an impressed maker's mark of "EE" and what appears to be a number....perhaps Italian? Timeframe 60s? Thank you all in advance for your time, help and expertise!

I'd recommend including the words "reticulated" or "lattice weave" in your searches. Have you tried looking on Worthpoint? (I have pretty much given up searching there, as it keeps wanting me to prove I am not a robot.)

The size and depth are not clear from the photos.  I also think this is ceramic.  To me it appears to be a ceramic woven decorated bread basket.

It sounds like metal when I tap it but I don't know as it has that enamel like coating...perhaps it is ceramic? Thank you ....I will keep searching.
