because it was issued by the Chamber of Commerce of Lippe Principality. A 'new' type of issuing entity for el Heron's small accumulation and a good one for Nr. 596;
Handelskammer;

Kammer= Chamber.
Coin is 24mm dia- round- Zinc - grades VF.
Obverse: Large '50' center divided by sword pointing down.
Legend: "HANDELSKAMMER LIPPE PFENNIG".
Reverse: Lippisher rose at center.
Legend: KRIEGSGELD 1917.
Note: Kriegsgeld = war money.

1128 - Lippe founded by Bernhardt the First.
1613 - Lippe partitioned into Lippe-Detmold, Lippe-Brake

1709- Lippe-Brake re-united with Lippe-Detmold.
1789 - Count of Lippe promoted to Prince.
1918 - Principality ends with abdication of Prince Leo IV.
