Declined Payments

After winning an auction I can not purchase the product through ebay. My bank has cleared the transaction but its still being declined. I have tried with multiple cards from multiple banks. Any suggestions? Purchase amount was $1,800

Making a transaction that large you mentioned your bank cleared the transaction.

Did you personally call your bank or answer a text stating it was a transaction that was OK to go through?

A buyer has to personally OK it through their Bank. Just an idea.

Sometimes you can't pay if there's  no shipping charge. Does the seller ship to the US?

Is the seller still showing as active? It almost sounds like Ebay flagged them as a fraud and is trying to "protect" you. You may have to contact Ebay.

As a new seller I am surprised eBay let you purchase for that amount actually. They usually restrict the amount you can spend in the early days.

The OP may be an infrequent buyer, but has been registered on eBay since 2015.
