Buying a car

I recently found a car on Facebook market place and when I messaged about it they sent an email to get in contact with the owner. She claimed she has made a deal with eBay to sell the car and take care of all paperwork, keys, and payment. I was wondering if anyone knows how this works with a “7-day testing períod” with no payments being made during those 7 days, she says it’s free shipping, I’m a little skeptical about this as I have never tried buying a car on eBay, if anyone has any comments about this and can help me out I would totally appreciate it!

It's a common scam.  eBay just doesn't work that way.  Do not correspond any further with this "seller."

This scam is so common, eBay has a special Help pages about it.

THIEF , SCAMMER and LIAR.       eBay never assists in sales or payments of items on other sites.   It must be listed on eBay to be an eBay sale.  There is NO other way.   Free shipping and  a seven day trial.  It would cost about 2000 dollars to ship a car, and that is each way.   Sellers won't take back a baseball card without a fight.

Also eBay will never tell you to pay with gift cards.  They are a great way to steal money.
