I learned today via Elyn on FB that Keith Moulton unexpectedly passed away this week.
Those of you who have been around the BSB for a while will remember Keith as the guy who was a manager at a national restaurant chain who chucked it all to become a Bookseller with a capital B. We saw him learn and learn and learn the trade right before our very eyes. And he gave back to the BSB whenever he could.
You will be missed, Keith. Your subtle wit and encyclopidiac (is that a word?) knowledge of all things great and small made me smile.

I am very sorry to hear of his passing. Thank you for posting.
We recently had a very close friend die suddenly.

Sorry to hear. I hope the book business helped in his final days.

Sad. He was one of the bright spots on the board before eBay got tired of people being nice to each other in their market place.
I heard about it today when I got Craig's email.

It's always so sad when one of our own passes away.
But perhaps, as booksellers, we can all take comfort in the relative eternity of the written word to outlast our own fragile mortality.
In memoriam, I found a thread authored by Chagrinbooks:

Thank you, Michele.
He loved his profession, he loved getting advice, and he found true love.
That's a lot of love! I will miss him forever.
