Following two (2) massive infusions of billions of dollars in cash as Covid Relief, the USPS has raised media rate postage from $2.80 to $2.89 a pound, a 3 1/3% increase.
Without so much as an announcement.
Gotta love the organized transition.

I agree it sucks, but both the postal service and eBay made announcements about it a while back.

I got the one about International mail, but media mail ?
I got the one about the premature raise in priority rates to profit from Christmas, but media mail?
Wasn't mentioned in the USPS announcement either.
It's not even consistent from pound to pound.
Maybe this will kill the penny sellers off.
Not a big deal since I can adjust prices to my inventory on the fly.

It is bad enough that they raise rates when fuel costs go up, and when fuel costs went down we hear nothing.
We pay for having our packages scanned, yet the first scan is often 10 days after placed at the post office. Often showing up at a southern post office when the destination is in the north. I have to follow up with customers to keep them happy.
