Why would i be charged 42.17 by borderlinx.com and not that i was charged this during check out?

My debit card was charged a fee of 47.17 by borderlinx.com. I am located in the US and i have only made two purchases from overseas. One from the UK and it was clearly stated the shipping cost during checkout. The other purchase was a Bluetooth transmitter that i bid on for 0.1 cent and won the bid plus shipping cost of 12.95. Everything looked legit during check out. Would it be possible that this china company is the one that somehow charged me without me knowing it. Would appreciate anyones help in this matter.
