Why was my post reported & edited by eBay when I put name brands & then " Unknown " at the end

I recently posted an item describing it with brand names and at the end of the post " Unknown ", because there are no marks showing the maker. I also posted it on a legitimate site before listing it,which has knowledgable folks. They didn't know the maker. In the description I put, " Not sure of the maker. Do the research on it before bidding, to make sure what you are buying." I guess some folks can't figure out what " Unknown and can't read the description below, before reporting something. I listed it the best I could and used the other maker names, so maybe someone could see this message me, tell me who made them and I could change the listing, like I did here in the past month. What is the best way to post something unknown, yet get someones attention who might want that item?Thanks
