I am not a big seller, but I have been filing and paying sales tax on anything that sold in my own state for several years. I realize that ebay collects for all states now, but I had continued to file for my state. I am assuming I do not need to send any in at this point, as Ebay handles that now, correct? I got a message saying I need to file whether or not I have any to pay in. Do I just ignore all sales on ebay now and just put I have nothing to report? I did continue to do it the last few years and submit it. It doesn't usually amount to very much at all.

@mallarddown Your state may still want you to show that eBay has collected the sales tax. You will need to talk to your state. This document has the SUT account number for eBay for Minnesota:

Thank you. I am not sure how that works, but I will try to call them tomorrow when they are open.

@mallarddown You can run a report on eBay that shows the sales tax they collected. You will have to sort it in excel. https://www.ebay.com/sh/fin/report
