enlarging listing photos to see better

A few weeks ago, when reviewing my saved searches, the ability to enlarge/zoom was decreased. I used to click on zoom, and it would show larger pics, even after it showed a screen of items by itself. Seems like this change happened about the time the forward & backward arrows were added to the image listing. I often bid on group lots, and cannot enlarge them enough to tell much. Any suggestions?

Normally, the failure to zoom is due to seller photos not being large enough to zoom. However, the past few weeks, I have also noticed that images fail to zoom, even when I know they are large enough.  Because I have not seen widespread complaints, I had attributed it to the fact that my browser is a bit older and that eBay may be using features that are not supported by my browser.  Is your browser older?
