Problem with Listing Editor, Country of Origin field

The listing editor seems to have an issue with deleting the COUNTRY OF ORIGIN field. In my situation, field was INDIA and deleted, left blank, then saved for later. Re-opened and field was still blank, this gave the impression change was made. Item was listed and INDIA re-appeared as country of origin. Is this a known issue ?
