PLEASE HELP QUICKLY NEED AN ANSWER THIS MORNING

Sold a car through auction.  Buyer is requesting to send someone today with a tow truck to pick up car, but has asked to not give the tow truck driver the title.  He'd like the title mailed to him.  He lives in Jersey the car is located in NY.  Doesn't sound right.  I thought the buyer needs to be present to sign the back of the title.  If the buyer trusts the tow truck driver to pick up the car, but doesn't trust him with the title....how can we trust this at all.

What is the right procedure?  Can we accomodate the buyer in this way?
