I have a customer in Australia and a package weighing 1 lb. I originally listed the item to ship as Priority Mail since the package weighed more than 13 oz. The problem is that under the Global Shipping Program, the customer is being charged a Priority Mail rate to ship to Australia which will cost him over $40. Shipping to Australia using the First Class Rate is less than $18. Had I known the item would sell to someone in Australia, I would have handled things differently. Now it appears all I can do is cancel the sale. Any ideas? Am I missing something? Thanks for any help.
