I do realize I am not the only one extremely irritated by the lack of email support. Chat doesn't really count and a call doesn't leave a written record of what was said. It seems that the 13,25% that they take of every penny including the pennies that do no not pass go anywhere near my little car on the board would be enough to fund email customer support. Sellers have to fund the effort to collect taxes for every state, county and city in America by paying a final value fee on that portion plus the shipping. States refund eBay 20% of the sales tax if it's paid on time. The least they can do is use that 20% kickback to pay a couple of people to do support by email.

You may be better off asking your question here to get suggestions from experienced users.
To contact eBay, use the chat assistant to request a chat with an agent or a call back by starting on the Help & Contact page and following the links for your issue. I have not used it, but I understand that eBay often provides transcripts of chats.
What options you see may depend on your particular issue and how busy that department is at the moment. Some issues like feedback are often handled via email.
Try entering "agent" into the chat window. You may have to provide some context to reach the correct department. If you see a "Still need help?" or "More options" choice, either of those should lead to a chat or call back option.
