Holding shipping cost

So how many sellers get holds on there sold items money including the shipping fees? I find this unfair and ridiculous.

Seems like Ebay only looks out for its buyers not sellers. You expect me to ship the item on time.  Yet you put the money for the item and the shipping fees on hold for 20 days. Absolutely absurd. Even after I shipped the item on time and paid out of my pocket. Buyer received item gave positive feedback they held the money for 2 more weeks. Why would I want to sell anything on your platform?

Since you are  new/infrequent seller, your payouts are subject to a hold.

Putting the money for the item on hold is fine. Putting the shipping cost on hold is absurd. I'm supposed to pay out of pocket for shipping my item to people and wait 20 days to get it back . Even after they receive item ? That's almost criminal .
