Now that eBay has done their next wonderful thing by shutting down their customer service number, how the blank are we supposed to resolve any issues at this point? The old answer of how to contact eBay no longer applies because it just takes you to a number that has now been shut down. So could someone with half a brain please explain to me how I can contact a live human being that works for eBay that can answer a question that can't be answered through the automated system?

Those of us on this Board have a lot more than 'half a brain' ... and we're ready/able to answers most questions people have about eBay.
If you truly need to speak to a CS rep ... you can either use the Contact Us link and get a 'call back' (most of the time) OR you can contact eBay through social media:

Sorry if I seem upset but I am an Ebay seller so its understandable.
I did try that before posting this question and all I saw as an option was "Call us" which leads to the number that NOW no longer works.

The folks reading and responding on this board are also eBay sellers (or buyers) who have also had their share of frustration with eBay.
If you follow the directions here, for most issues you should wind up on a page with a "Contact us" link (not "Call us"). If you go through the chat assistant option, you should be able to request a call back there using the "Contact an agent" option.
We want your journey here to be as great as can be, so we have put together some links to help you get quickly familiarized with the eBay Community.
