Buyer able to return item for 6 months through paypal

Has anyone else had a buyer wait for three months,use the item,and then request to send it back?I have no idea what I will be getting back but PayPal has already taken the side of the buyer.Any alternative to paypal?Thanks!

eBay allows you to have your own bank credit card merchant account and an electronic gateway acceptable to eBay.  Keep in mind that this will not stop buyers from requesting returns/refunds for 180 days.  Most credit and debit cards have a 180 day charge back policy which your merchant account would still have to follow.  Some cards have a longer time frame for opening a charge back so not using PayPal really does not help you.  It has been my experience that the banks will still rule for the buyer over 90% of the time when they open a charge back so the seller still loses no matter what.
