Buyer Provided wrong address, package was returned to seller, but USPS wants return shipping fees

Anyone had this happen and can give me info on how to handle it?

-Buyer provided wrong address.

-Shipped USPS Economy through ebay shipping system with "free shipping" on listing. Package made it to destination area, then tracking showed Insufficient Address and return to sender.

-USPS showed up today with the package, said since it was shipped Economy, it doesn't cover return shipping and I owe $31.xx if I want the package back.

So if I refund the seller, Im out $48 on shipping for a $65 item before ebay/paypal fees. Im sure they want a refund....So what do I do? Its not my fault the address was wrong, I used the "print label" system and created a label with the provided address through ebay.
