Answering a buyer question

I received a message from a prospective buyer and when I try to send an offer, I get a message that since this question is over 90 days old, I can't do that. I just got the message yesterday. Any ideas? Thank you, Pat

Re: Answering a buyer question

I got that error once.

I then went to   My ebay > Messages

I brought up the message from the buyer, and was able to use the Reply with Offer option.

Re: Answering a buyer question

If I am thinking of the same error, it says "The question you are trying to answer is either invalid or older than 90 days. You cannot respond to questions older than 90 days."

So perhaps the original message is invalid or has been removed by eBay, or else the sender is no longer registered.

If you can go to the sender's feedback or profile page and determine that the user is still registered, you may be able to compose a new message there using the "Contact" link.
