A same item listing can post to auction and fixed price listing?

We wonder if we can post dual listings for a same item to fixed price listing and auction listing.

Yes, you can do that, but you will have to create two different titles and use different photos for each listing, as eBay has rules against duplicate listings.

Not a good idea. If the fixed price listings sells and you go to cancel the auction style one, that is if you still can as the option to do so expires 12 hours before the listings ends, eBay will more than likely charge you the final value fee of the high bid, you also may not remember to cancel the one that didn't sell, and that can lead to negative feedback and dinged stars.
