What is this?

Believe it is a Japanese wood puzzle (?) Was included in a lot of vintage Japanese items I bought at an estate sale.  There is an ink stamp marked but cannot discern it.  Thank you.

Could be a contemporary wooden puzzle from the Signals catalog.

I used to purchase lots of those for my son throughout the 1980s and 1990s.

Signals is located in Ohio.

I meant the Bits and Pieces catalog, from Indiana.
