Hello,
I did some research and think the year of this typewriter is 1917-1918. The serial number on the plate is 1027768. I can't seem to find a typewriter listed that look exactly like this one on ebay or the web. There's a copyright of 1896 - 1923 on the front margin plate (also the numbers and line at the bottom of the plate is green not red as shown on the others.
Any help will be appreciated. 🙂 Thanks!

If you search "Antique Outings Underwood Typewriter", you will find some great information there on your typewriter.

The copyright date is from 1896-1923. So the typewriter had to be manufactured sometime between 1896-1923.

Thanks for the link.

OP,
I think the date of manufacture is a moot point...
Your typewriter is so rusted out, and in such bad shape, I would be surprised if anyone would want it.
Maybe for a door-stop.

I agree with Wilsonhepple,
you would be able to sell the set of typewriter keys for more than the typewriter, especially if they're glass keys.

As others have noted, there isn't much of a market for a 1920s Underwood in such rough shape. But if you really do want to date it, I think you'll find that Underwood serial numbers are well documented. Try one of these sites for starters:
