Any Help on these large African? Drinking pitchers

I have two of thesem, relativelysimilar,they aremade from a log or small tree,are about 11" in height and are 7 1/2"in diameter at the top. I assumed African, but someome toldme they may be Polynesian???

Definitely not Polynesian, the wood is wrong, the design is not Polynesian, and the pitcher form is not one found in Polynesia.   Individual drinks are served in coconut shell cups, dipped from a large carved bowl.

THANS Taupou!!! I didnt think so, but wanted to eliminate iot.They seem to have a lot of age, any idea what they might be?
