Please help identify brooch - era, maker, appropriate description

Hi all, it's been so long since I've been on this forum - feels like a lifetime ago!

Recently found this little lovely. I have no idea of how to describe it, who the maker might be, and what era it comes from - guessing 40s,maybe Czech? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

I believe it is 1940's, this style with the long fringe was popular then. I know Hobe made some  pieces like this, but I would think it would be marked/signed.

First thing that I thought was Hobé.  They did make unsigned pieces.
