I'm helping a friend do some legwork on this men's ring and hoping someone might know who this hallmark is.
The ring is in the shape of either a thunderbird, phoenix, firebird (screaming chicken?), or an eagle.
It's very heavy 14K gold with diamonds and is hallmarked on the inside 14K, along with what I have to believe is the makers mark.
The mark looks like a bunch of scratches at first, but it does seem to have planned design. To me it looks like a cascading mountain, with a letter M at the bottom. Or even a praying mantis or grasshopper. Maybe I'm just trying to see something or not?
The design of the ring is making me think Southwestern USA.
