In our Spring 2021 Seller Update, we announced that starting April 1, 2021 that most sellers would receive additional zero insertion fee allotments when eBay manages your payments. The new zero insertion fee allotments are now live and will help further reduce the upfront cost of listing on eBay. The new allotments represent the next step along our journey of lowering upfront listing costs. We encourage you to continue to bring more great inventory that millions of buyers are searching for on eBay.
Because we’re offering more zero insertion fee listings for most sellers, you may benefit from upgrading your Store subscription. We encourage you to review the new zero insertion fee allotments to evaluate whether you have the best eBay Store subscription for your business requirements.
The additional zero insertion fees in select categories remain unchanged. Read more about select categories here.
If you currently sell less than 50 items each month you probably don’t need an eBay Store subscription. As you sell more, you may want a place to organize and manage your inventory on eBay. Consider these general guidelines to determine the best Store subscription for your needs.
New allotments when eBay manages your payments.
If eBay is not yet managing your payments, your ZIF allotments remain unchanged as shown above.
Finally, as we move away from upfront insertion fees, select categories will see a 0.2% increase in final value fees. Click here for more details.
As always, thank you for selling on eBay.
