Hi,
My name is Ron Thornhill from Willamina, Oregon. I'm a 60 year old retired elementary school teacher. Since retiring in 2000 I have created approximately 150 pieces of art.
I took one advanced drawing class in 2000, and fell in love with ink stippling. I started out doing black and white pieces, and evolved into stippling with colored scrapbooking pens. Now, I sometimes put watercolor washes over my black and white pieces. I have been experimenting with "real coffee" washes over my black and white cardstock prints. You get a wonderful marbled effect.
I belong to an art guild where I have picked up some watercolor skills from my classmates. Now I am interested in ATC miniatures.
My favorites subjects are floral,wildlife, and people.
