I just listed a 5"x 5" painting of a young male Giraffe I use to see at the Catskill Game Farm. He was purchased by Adirondack Animal Land when the game farm closed. He now has a wonderful mate and a handsome young son. It is a fantastic feeling to see how these wonderful animals age throughout their lives.

Beautiful artwork! Love the martinis and mermaids and metamophoses (geez, I can't even try to spell that... too late in the thinking day for me).
But I did finish another SFA, this one 7 1/2" x 5 1/2", oil on fabric with metallic fibers and quilting.

OSWOA® Hooded Oriole
There are two threads for this, this month, so I am posting it here too. I didn't see this one when I posted to the other one, but now it's up if the other one gets deleted. I kept it around for over a year because I really like the Hooded Oriole -- but recently I rearranged my art after framing some of it and there wasn't room to keep this one up.

I just listed another 5"x 5" painting of a Domestic Short Hair named Kate. I have painted several portraits of Kate over the past year. Her owner named her Kate after the movie starring Meg Ryan...Yup!!! Wouldn't you know it, Kate has a companion named Leopold. I guess it wouldn't have sounded as nice if the owner named them Meg and Hugh!! hahahaha
