List Your ETSY User ID Here For Link Exchange

Hey Everyone, Many of us are looking for alternative sales venues and some of us have stores at www dot etsy dot com where the seller fees are much lower than eBay. However... you will not get the amount of traffic to your ETSY Store that you get to your eBay listings. So... it's a good idea to exchange links with other ETSY sellers. You can do this by adding other sellers to your "Favorites" on ETSY. If you have an ETSY Store, please list your user ID here. Then I can go look you up and add you to my ETSY "Favorites" and I hope you'll do the same for me. Here's my ETSY user ID: wendyswhimseys Also... a good selling strategy is to run several eBay auctions each month... being sure to provide a link to your About Me page in each auction and make a large announcement that buyers may: "Visit My About Me Page To See More Of My Work!" Then... provide a HUGE link to a page that tells about your ETSY Store from your About Me page. Okay, I just posted in the last of my auctions to check out my "about me" page to see where I will be selling in the near future instead of eBay. On my about me page I stated I will be selling originals on Etsy.com along with many other artists from here due to very undesirable eBay changes starting on the 20th. So now hopefully anyone checking out my auctions will read that and come check us out on Etsy. I hope everyone who has any listings left will do the same to help generate buying traffic to Etsy. As long as you direct them to your about me page it's okay with eBay...you just can't post that on your auction page. It has to be in your "about me" page. You can also add it to an auction that has bids. Just click revise and there should be a section for adding text. Let's all help get the word out so we can still sell during the strike! Hi everyone! Reading everyone's comments got me off the couch, so to speak. I just joined and listed on etsy as, what else, purplehorse75. I've listed 11 ACEO cards and might list more this weekend. So far, I've got viewers. We'll see what happens. I'm going to join some other sites, too. I still need to work on my banner and I didn't like the way Hellion, the zebra seahorse on my EBay ID image, was cropped for etsy, but it was pretty easy setting up a shop on etsy. It's amazing what has come of all this, new venues and sites. I've also been singing the praises of ACEO's in the fine arts world and have been incorporating them in my college artwork. I will post some of them later to show everyone. Right now I gotta get back to the art drawing board! Kim
