This is not Customer Service.

This Board is where members come to get help and advice from other members -- and sometimes to have a good rant.

So .

You accidentally opened a Store?

You could use

https://twitter.com/askebay
https://www.facebook.com/eBay/

to ask that it be closed.

You will NOT get your month's subscription back, probably.

You have 250 FREE listings without a Store.

You will pay a Final Value Fee (FVF) on your sales. Usually it's about 10.2% of the customer's payment.

You will pay an FVF on the shipping fee you charge too.

And Paypal will charge you 30c plus 2.9% of any payment made by your customer.

And your customer's payment will be Held against your performance for up to 21 days. You can shorten this by entering a tracking number.

And Auctions make up less than 15% of listings , but most of the Unpaid Item Disputes.

You can find the more useful and safer Fixed Price format on the Advanced/Business Sell Your Item form which has a link at the top right of the stupid Simplified form you are defaulted into.

It's longer but gives you more options.

Best Wishes.

So close.... but customer payment via paypal does not go into your paypal account anymore, it has to go to your bank account now, so the fee goes to eBay's payment processor, not Paypal.  but yes, you're right that this is not customer service.  I think that for the most part, the pandemic has closed down eBay's customer service.  Last time I tried to call them about something, it just rang and rang and rang and rang and no one ever picked up.  Left a message and never got a callback.  Kind of pointless if you need help navigating an issue, as it leaves you pretty much on your own.
