Hello everyone,
I am a new part-time seller on eBay and I also have a brick-and-mortar store.
Can you all please offer the best advice in order to prevent fraud?
What do I need to do on the back-end in order to protect myself?
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated!

Always check your paypal account to make sure the money is there and paypal says OK to ship before shipping anything.
Never let a buyer talk you into changing the address once they have paid.
Never give out your paypal address - buyers don't need it to pay.
Never add gift cards to any order at the buyer's request.
Never list anything you can't afford to lose.
Don't list anything in high scam categories: smart phones, tablets, laptops, gaming consoles, expensive cameras or expensive jewelry.

Hi and welcome to eBay! I would suggest you ask on the fashion board. It looks like you are selling high end items.
The motto around is don’t sell anything you can’t afford to lose.
New sellers are prone to scams especially in your categories.
Here’s a link to the fashion board. Good Luck and Happy Selling!

Hi, let me add to the really great advice so far. NEVER complete any transaction outside of eBay. Any sales should go through the site no matter what the buyer tells you.
