More and more seller are charging tax when its not requred. If Item is bought out of state and delived from out of stae there is no Sales Tax liabailty. It is noticeble that sales taxs are being charged to increase the sellers bottom line. I was recenty charged sales tax at 25% from an out of sate seller. He quickly refunded it whan I pointed out no state has a 25% rate and the IRS may be interested. Today another seller out of state tried to charge sales tax. Ebay is failing customes by not making the tax rules clear
