I bought a rucksack on eBay for £12.52. i did not know the seller was based in China.
When it arrived it was clear the bag was made for a child and not an adult. Although the volume was correct, the shoulder straps were far too small. I initiated a return via the eBay site. The seller contacted me to advise me the shipping charges back to China would be far too expensive (Approximately £20.00) and that i should keep the bag or give it away.
After a few more messages the seller offered me a partial refund of 20%.
i attempted to get eBay involved directly to resolve the issue. I followed the tutorial on eBay only to find the "Get EBay Involved" option was missing.
Can anyone advise me on how to raise this with eBay in order to resolve this issue? I want to use the EBay money back guarantee.
