What happened to the listing info?

I recently sold an item at auction.

The winner ended up not paying nor responding to the invoice,

so I waited for eBay to cancel which it did after the waiting period.

Then several things happened, first eBay relisted the item without asking me so luckily I caught it before someone was able to bid on the item.

Secondly I went to got back to the original list to get the non-paying bidder eBay "name" so I could enter that into the block list. Well all the info was removed from my eBay sellers board even the copies of the original invoices I sent were removed from my  messages account ??

The original listing only showed that it had once been listed but no

record of the bidders was left.

Luckily I had emailed myself a copy of the invoice to an outside email service and was able to obtain the info, the name, I needed.

Though I have never had the need to look back at an auction record before I now find this eBay method of canceling the transaction a bit weird cause it allows us no record of what actually happened to my auction other than it was canceled by eBay for non-payment by the bidder.

Am I being to picky ?

It is like something is being hidden from me by the eBay

computer system, am I being paranoid ?

Plus why is the system relisting items without notifying me ?

There must be a setting to prevent this but I don't see it.

Thanks for reading my complaint & concerns.

Re: What happened to the listing info?

@dennisp54,

I think that you are talking about this listing. It shows up in your Items-sold list, but it's not on Terapeak which means that it hasn't been paid for, and it was sold about 4 1/2 days ago.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/155162325452

It's at the top of your list of items sold:

https://www.ebay.com/sch/dennisp54/m.html?_nkw&_armrs=1&_from&_ipg&LH_Complete=1&LH_Sold=1

When you open the listing, you can click on the number of bids, to see the list of bidders. The seller can see the bidders user IDs, but everyone else can only see the masked IDs.

OK  Thanks

I swear sometimes my glasses just are not working or maybe it is what's behind them. Getting older is for the birds.
