To place a picture as your avatar you must do it through Live World.
To get there just click on the generic avatar on this page. It will take you to a page with information about your group activity but in the green bar at the top of all that there is a tab called
My Preferences. Click on that tab then in the first box on the next page you will see a link to your Live World that will explain how to place your own photo as your avatar. The photo can be one that is in your computer files on your PC or one that is hosted by a Photo Site.
]:) Getting there is half the fun! :^O I know it's a round about way to do things but that seems to be the criteria for groups ever since they revamped them. LOL
