Right finish for ACEOs?

I'm getting ready to spray my first ACEOs and would like some input. I've seen some say they use a lacquer - how is that applied and what exactly is it called? I have a spray that is by Krylon it simply says it is a durable, protective coating that is "low odor" and can be used indoors which I need because I do not have access to a seperate place to spray than the two rooms I live in with one long narrow window. Will everyone tell me what you use to "finish" your pieces of art? PJ

I do not varnish my ACEOs. Maybe I should. I do place them in plastic sleeves for shipping.

Re: Right finish for ACEOs?

Hi @artipher

I buy lots of ACEO's and have for the past 20 years.   Many are watercolors & some are larger than ACEO's and I've never  seen a spray on any of them.  I like them natural as well.  Most are sent in a plastic sleeve & I've never had a single one get damaged or have the colors run.   If any of yours get damaged , it would be rare.

I would just send them as is.  Hope this helps!  🙂
