The Corning Ware coffee pots, or some of them, were recalled in 1978 because the handle and ring or band assembly were glued on and would come off when you were holding a pot of hot coffee.
Later models were clamped on or attached under the upper rim so they couldn't come apart, but, Ebay is still taking off Corning Ware pots if they are listed as coffee rather than teapots.
I only list the non-recalled pots as teapots or water jugs. the one you show looks like a glued on version, they came in both stove top and electric versions.
