Hi, I would appreciate help in identifying these two AGD's. Both have blue eyes. Both have long straight hair, one blonde the other light brown. Both have small tags dated 2008. Thanks in advance.

American Girl Dolls (AGD) often used the same head and body and were identified by their dress/costume. You may be able to identify your dolls by using he link below. Which has lists and images of every AGD doll made.

The blonde could be Kirsten. But @mudshark has provided you an excellent link.

Neither are from the Historical Collection. In 1998 they came out with non historical dolls and called the line the American Girl of Today series, AGOT. That has morphed through the years to be Just Like You and Truely Me. The top doll is wearing the meet outfit (clothes worn at purchase) sold 2006 - 2007 and the doll is version GT3.

The other doll is likely from generally the same time and is doll GT7. Not sure what clothing she has on. The 2008 on the side tag is a manufacture control number and not a date. It appears on more than half of their products.
