Unrecognized mark on candlestick holders

Hi, all. I have a pair of these candlestick holders, with marks I haven't been able to identify. The candle holders were part of a larger batch of German Judaica silver from a friend of mine's mom, who emigrated to the US from Germany in the 1920s. Other marks I was able to identify, but this set has stumped me. Thank you for any guidance or direction.

Here is the first mark.

And here is the second mark.

Unrecognized mark on candlestick holders

To me, this just looks like the number "800", indicating the silver content. It's less than sterling silver, which would be 925. A lot of antique 800 silver originates from Germany.
