Yes. USPS is discontinuing these January 23, 2023. You can still use the boxes for USPS Priority mail but you will have to enter the dimensions and weight of each shipment vs. selecting Regional size.

If i am interpreting correctly, a lot of the regional prices will remain the same if under 10lbs up to zone 4. 

The difference is the box is no longer available and the weight limits have changed for the heavier shipments. (where flat rate box can be substituted)

Good news! Even though USPS announced an average rate increase of 3.6% for Priority Mail, most Priority Mail rates for packages up to 10 lbs will not increase when you print your label on eBay. There will be no rate increases in these weights and zones on eBay Labels:

Packages up to 2 lbs, zones 1-6
Packages 2-3 lbs, zones 1 –5
Packages 4-10 lbs, up to zone 4
Flat rate Priority Mail except APO/FPO/DPO

The following USPS shipping services will increase an average of:

Priority Mail Express— 6.6%
First Class Package— 7.8%
Priority Mail International— 6%
Priority Mail Express International— 6%
First Class Package International Service—6.5%

Please note the following USPS updates will also be applied:

Signature confirmation —$0.15 increase to $3.25
Nonstandard Length fee >30” is decreasing from $15.00 to $7.00 for Parcel Select Ground
Nonstandard Volume fee > 2 cu ft is increasing from $15.00 to $25.00 for Priority Mail & Priority Mail Express
Elimination of Regional Rate Boxes for Priority Mail and Priority Mail International

Just to clarify:  There will no longer be any Regional postage rates.  

If you have Regional boxes, they can still be used, but they will ship at regular Priority Mail rates (based on weight and distance) so the new price to mail a Regional box could be either higher or lower than today's Regional rate.

Yes, the Regional Rates as we know are going away but lower weighted items (using dimensional and weighted measurements) will not be effected in the price. (Until next increase) Example below.

(With same dimensions as Regional Boxes)

Packages up to 2 lbs, zones 1-6
Packages 2-3 lbs, zones 1 –5
Packages 4-10 lbs, up to zone 4

Heavier items going longer distances will be priced higher. The Flat Rate box option is still available.
