Yesterday I sold an item through the EIS program that incurred eBay's mandatory signature on delivery requirement (the order total was over $750.00) and I'm curious how this requirement works on EIS transactions. Mainly what I'd like to know is:
1. Who signs for the package? Is it someone at the EIS hub, my buyer or both?
2. If the EIS hub signs for the package does that meet the requirement?
3. If my buyer is required to sign for the package what happens if they refuse to sign, the package doesn't arrive or arrives damaged? Am I still covered by the stated EIS seller protections?

Once it is signed for at the hub, your responsibility ends.
