Tip of the month:

I have been doing this for a couple of years. I sell some lighted Christmas items,  a

fter it sells I plug it in and snap a photo to send to buyer showing it is in working condition before shipping.

I always get a wonderful answer from buyer thanking me for the extra step, only takes minutes and have not had a damaged item claim since I have been doing this.

Just might help stop some returns and claims.

I've sold a few items like that in the past and used a variation of your method. I always tested and added photos to the listing showing the item in working order so all potential buyers could see before making the purchase.

Be careful selling lights these days with the laws and regs.

I always put it in listing, but take a photo and send to buyer as shipping too. Oh you are so right.  Did not think to add check shipping info.
