Shipping labels "You'll receive a refund in a few days..."

Printed a (rather expensive) USPS shipping label, realized too late it was the wrong customer. 

Voided the label, the message was "We sent the carrier your request. If the carrier hasn't scanned your label, you'll receive a refund in a few days."

Will I get a refund? How is it tracked in the ebay interface?

Or is this process  just a joke?

Anybody else actually get a refund from the USPS?

Yes you actually get refunded it takes between 2-3 weeks. You won’t get an email or a message regarding it. The refund will just show up as a credit in your recent transactions and added to your available funds.

Yes.  I have received several refunds from USPS.

15 days to be exact. Not sure on the hours or minutes.

They have to wait to be sure you did not use that puppy before refunding.
