You can add the correct tracking number to the sale. You can't remove old ones.  Message your buyer to explain what happened.

If you just input a bad number....

Can't you just use the 'edit' and add the new tracking number?

(I realize both will show up, but the unused one will drop off.....)

or....is the wrong one supposed to be on another listing/order?

if that is the case, I am not sure what you can do....

one of the shipping gurus might be able to help..

@wastingtime101

maybe unmark as shipped? (might free up the number)

dunno for sure on a manual input

Once the tracking shows as delivered then you can't change the tracking number. Inform your buyer regarding the situation and add the correct number as an additional tracking number. If it is still in transit you can edit the tracking number.

Can you provide more details @gabenolan ?

- Did you manually enter tracking?

- Did you swap tracking numbers between 2 orders?

- Is the reason you can't change it because the system says the tracking is tied to another order?

or maybe

- Did you purchase the label through eBay, mess up, then purchase a new label and now you want to delete original tracking?

I can help if you explain exactly what's happening.

GLORIOUS!
