Combined Shipping

A buyer purchases 5 items.

They request a combined shipping invoice.

They pay for a combined shipping invoice.

Their order is delivered to them and they claim that an item is missing from the parcel.

As a courtesy to the buyer, we refund the buyer for the item that they claim was missing.

eBay sides with the buyer and refuses to remove feedback indicating that the item was missing.

How do you protect yourself from dishonest buyers like this?

Combined Shipping

At least the buyer ONLY filed a claim for ONE missing item -- be thankful it wasn't for all FIVE!

Since eBay prohibits sellers from giving negative feedback to such buyers, about the only thing that a seller can do is to add the buyer's eBay name to your blocked-buyer's list, and cross your fingers for next time.

I've been selling on eBay since 2011, and the vast majority of my buyers have been honest -- so don't give up hope!
